The largest Russian night air attack was arranged by the main building of the Ukrainian government in Kiev in the fire and left three people dead, including an infant whose body was pulled out of the debris, Ukrainian officials said on Sunday.
“For the first time, the government building was damaged by an enemy strike – its roof and the upper floor,” said Yulia Svyrydenko, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

Reuters’ witnesses saw the highest floor of the main building of the Ukrainian government, located in the historical district of Pecherskyi, a burning, with a thick smoke rising to a bright blue sky right after the sunrise.
The Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram said Russia released 805 drones and 13 missiles overnight, with Ukrainian defensive units downing 751 drones and four missiles.
This was the highest number of drones that Russia attacked on Earth since Moscow in February 2022 launched its invasion of Ukraine in full.
Timur Tkachenko, head of the military administration of the capital, said that the child’s body was pulled out of the debris in the Darnytskyi district, where a four -storey apartment building was damaged.
The young woman also died as a result of the attack on the district that lies east of the Dnipro River, Tkochenko said.

State emergency officials said that 18 people were injured overnight, who sent fires throughout the city.
Moscow did not immediately comment on the attacks. Both sides deny targeting civilians in strokes, but thousands died in the war Russia launched in a full scale in Ukraine in February 2022.
Previously, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that an older woman had died in a bomb shelter in Darnytsky and a pregnant woman was among the injured.
State emergency officials said the fire broke out in two of the four stories of a residential building in the district that hit the drone attack, and its structure was partially destroyed.

In the western district of Sviatoshynskyii, several floors were partially destroyed by the nine floors, Klitschko and emergency officials said.
Falling sproies set out fires in a 16-storey apartment building and two other nine-storey buildings, the mayor added.
Svyrydenko demanded more weapons for Ukraine and the world to respond to Russian attacks.
“We will restore the buildings,” Svyrydenko said. “But lost lives cannot be brought back. The enemy terrorizes and kills our people across the country every day.”
Smoke avoided from apartment buildings, some of the floors partially collapsed and the facades disintegrated, the photographs on the social media showed by emergency officials.
Russia was “intentionally and consciously affected civilian goals,” said Tkochenko, military administrator Kiev.
Dozens of explosions also shook the Ukrainian central city of Kremenchuk, reduced strength to some areas and damaged the bridge over the Dnipro River, said the mayor of Vitalia Matetskyi on the telegram.

Russian strikes at Kryvyi Rih, also in Central Ukraine, focused on transport and urban infrastructure, said Oleksanddr Vilkul, head of military administration for the city, telegram, but no injuries were reported.
In the southern city of Suba, civilian infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged, with fires bursting in several apartment buildings, said regional governor Oleh Kiper on a telegram.
When Western Ukraine faced the threat of air attacks, Poland activated its own and allied aircraft to ensure air safety, the operating command of the Polish armed forces said.
