
Narayana Das (58), the main accused of a false narcotic case, unauthorized to involve Sheel Sunny of Chalakuda, which operated a beauty salon, was arrested from Bengalur.
The case dates back to 27 February 2023, when the department of excise duty reportedly found signs of LSD in the scooter Mrs. Sunny in Chalakudy and then arrested. The fir was filed and Mrs. Sunny spent 72 days in prison. Forensic analysis, however, found no trace of narcotic substances. Mrs. Sunny was later cleaned of all the accusations.
Further investigations revealed that the case was the result of the conspiracy behind Mrs. Sunny. After the Directive from the Supreme Court, the case was transferred from the Consumer Department department to the police.
On March 7, 2025, a special investigation team was created that Kodungalloor Dysp VK Raju was created to explore the case.
The investigation revealed that Narayan Das of the Tripunithura in Ernacula, along with Livia Jose of Vararayil House, Kalady, the sister of Mrs. Sunny’s daughter, organized a plan to make it falsely. On the basis of Tip-off, the police team traceded Narayan Das in Bommanahali in Bengalur and brought him to Kodungallo on Tuesday.
During the interrogation, Narayan Das confessed to the conspiracy and his arrest was officially recorded.
