The main accused in attacking a former Dyfi V vinesh worker in Vaniyamkulum last week surrendered to the police on Monday.
Dyfi Shoranur Block Secretary of Rrakesh surrendered before dy.sp. in Shoranur. The police said a gang composed of Rrakesh, Haris, Surjit and Kiran attacked Varsesh, who was admitted to a private hospital in Vaniyamkulum with severe injuries.
The gang led by Rajesh attacked Vinsh for allegedly commented on the FB post. All four members are local Dyfi leaders. The other three were arrested soon after the attack.
