The leaders celebrate the valor of Abhinandan

Lleaders across party lines welcomed the return of Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan Varthaman on Friday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the nation was proud of his exemplary courage. “Welcome Home Wing Commander Abhinandan! The nation is proud of your exemplary courage,” he tweeted.

Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted, “Proud of you Wing Commander #AbhinandanVarthaman. The entire nation appreciates your valor and bravery. You have kept calm in the face of adversity.”

BJP president Amit Shah said the entire nation was proud of the courage and bravery of the pilot.

“Dear Wing Commander Abhinandan, the entire nation is proud of your courage and bravery. India is glad to have you back. May you continue to serve the nation and the IAF with unmatched passion and dedication. Best wishes for your bright future,” he said.

The Congress president said that his dignity, composure and bravery made everyone in India proud. “Wing Cdr. Abhinandan, your dignity, poise and bravery have done us all proud. Welcome back and much love,” he tweeted.
