The veteran leader of Congress CV Padmarajan died on Wednesday in Kollam. He was 93. The doctors attributed the cause of the death of an old age.
Mr. Padamarajan managed finance, power and fishing in the governments of K. Karunakaran and AK Antony. He was elected twice to the assembly from the Chathanoor constituency in the Kollam district.
Mr. Padmarajan also served as the president of the Keral Pradesh Congress Committee from 1983 to 1987. In 1931, he was born in the 1931 paravury in 1931 as a member of the Congress of Students of All Travancore during the flourishing of the Independence movement.
Later he graduated from the sister -in -law and worked as the plaintiff of the district government and the prosecutor in Kollam. Mr. Padmarajan Vasanth’s wife and two sons survived him.
The main Minister Pinaraya Vijayan expressed his condolences to his family, friends and congress workers Mr. Padmarajan. He said that the leader of the veterans made his mark as a lawyer, collaborator and deputy.
Mr. Vijayan said that Mr. Padmarajan has risen in the ranks of congress through mere hard work and organizational skills at local level. As a legislator and minister, Mr. Padmarajan was and outside the government in the presentation of the government.
Mr. Vijayan said Mr. Padamarajan’s friendship overcame politics. Mr. Padmarajan insisted that (Mr. Vijayan) launches a foundation that comes in the name of Mr. Padmarajan in Kollam. The main minister remembered Mr. Padmarajan as a politician who led a simple life and rarely turned from his opinions.
The opposition leader VD Satheesan said that Mr. Padmarajan was responsible for obtaining the KPCC headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, known as Indira Bhavan. “Mr. Padmarajan was a symbol of unity and determination of congress,” he added.
The Secretary General of the Congress of the whole India (AIC) (organization) KC Venugopal remembered him of the mentor and guide of the generation of congress leaders. He described Mr. Padmarajan as a humanist and a solid secularist.
President KPCC Sunny Joseph, Mla, also agreed to pass Mr. Padmarajan.
