The KSRTC bus heading to Sringeri from Bengalur crashed into the house outside the road and on Wednesday in Jaladrawg near Jayapury on Wednesday in Jaladrawg near Jayapury.
The driver lost control of the bus when negotiating the curve, and the vehicle ran off the road and hit the house around 16:30 hours of the house belonging to Puttappa Pujari was damaged. Shantha, who slept at the time, suffered injuries.
About 30 passengers suffered minor injuries. They were admitted to hospitals in Jayapura and Koppa. The incident occurred at the limits of the Jayapura Police Station.
