Speakers for a three-day “dance costume and makeup” workshop carried out at Sri Padmavati Mahil Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV) emphasized the importance of a wonderful look at the concert or the stage show successful.
The event as “Aharya”, led by the Ministry of Music, Dance and Art of the University of All-Women University, meant the importance of costume and makeup, as the basic aspects of “Abhinaya” (expression or action).
M. Devanartaki, an artist Bharatanatyam based in Chennai, considered himself a professional coach in dance form, participated as a source and explained the nuances of the subject. Students of the department gained first-hand knowledge of different makeup techniques needed for classic dance. Creative sessions provided students with practical experience in testing various costume techniques using textured fabrics.
Another source, N. Sivaprasad, a trained classic dancer and make -up artist, helped participants to explore the skills of “artistic documentation” on Wednesday on Wednesday on the final day of the workshop.
At the closing ceremony in Vanaja Iyengar Music Mandiram on the premises, Vice Chairman (VC) V.
