The Police Academy of Karnataka (KPA), the prestigious Police Training Institute in the State and the Postal Training Center, the Postal Department premiere officials, signed a memorandum of understanding (MY) to facilitate training, exchanging persons and development of innovative courses for both institutions.
The publication said that the memorandum was signed on Saturday, and under this agreement, officers will be undergoing training in both institutions not only to acquire more knowledge of topics related to both departments, but will also be able to obtain further information about innovative developments in their relevant subjects. The authorities stated that the authorities would allow staff from both departments to apply it within the scope of their work.
While the postal department officials will learn about cyber security, fingerprints and the threat of drug trafficking from KPA resources, KPA officials will gain expertise on financial literacy issues, including small investment opportunities, financial management and information and technology related to the post office.
