The fifth other judge of the districts and sessions in Mysuru rebuked the police for their shabby investigation in a sensational case concerning a tribe who was imprisoned for the “murder” of his wife, who was later found to live with her friend.
Judge Gururaj Somakkalavar, who searched for a message from the police superintendent N. Vishnuvardhan after the woman was found alive, reserved orders in the case of 23 April.
After the circular inspector of the police station was Deepak on Thursday, he submitted an 18 -page report on police supervisor, the judge took a serious exception to the police investigation as the report tried to justify the content of the indictment filed against the Suresh tribal.
“The judge killed the police for presenting a” catastrophic “defendant,” said Pandu Pujari Hindu, who is an advisor to Mr. Suresh.
Here it can be mentioned that Mr. Suresh, Basavanahalli resident at the limits of the Kushalnagar police station in Kodag, filed a complaint with the police that his wife Mallige was missing. Only the previous day the police at the neighboring Bettadapura station came across an unidentified dead body of a woman.
Police Bettadapura subsequently accused Mr. Sutesh, who, incidentally, filed a complaint of missing his wife a day earlier, for the murder of Mrs Mallige and claimed that an unidentified body had recovered from their limits. Mr. Suresh spent about two years in prison before he was released on bail.
The DNA report not only showed a mismatch between Mrs. Mallige and an unidentified dead body, but Mr. Suresh’s wife was eventually seen in the Madikeri restaurant with his friend Ganesh at the beginning of this month.
Mr Pujari said that there is no “proper reasonable reason” during the Mysur court on Thursday.
While he accused the police of the “evidence production” and created the indictment only on the “frame” of his client, Mr. Suresh, who is innocent, Mr. Pujari said Mr. Suresh lost about two years of his precious time in custody for an offense he had never committed. “His reputation in society was also spoiled. He was tortured and forced himself to grant a crime,” said Mr. Pujari, accusing police officials involved in the investigation of “playing in court” by filing “invented” the indictment.
Mr. Pujari demanded registration of the Suo Moto case against investigative officers and was looking for compensation for his client Mr. Suresho for the suffering he had undergone.
