Addressing the press persons together with the CEO of Swarnaa Group of Comapnies VSV Prasad in Hubballi on Friday, President of IskCon Hubballi Dharwad Rajiv Lochan Dasa, said up to 15 competitions including dance, singing, quiz, painting, painting, hands and others will take place during the event.
Rajiv Lochan Dasa said that more than 7,000 children have already registered at the Cultural Festival and the number is likely to reach 12,000 before the start of July 7. The opening event will take place on July 7 at 10:30 am and all participants will receive a certificate of participation.
He said that, along with special prizes for winning students in every competition, teachers would be honored by special prizes and the school with the best performance would be honored by the championship trophies.
Rajiv Lochan Dasa said that the first phase of the ISKCON temple is approaching completion and the formal inauguration will be held on 14 November. The SWARNAA group built the ground floor extended by 25,000 m2.
VSV Prasad said that the cultural festival has been organized in the last 23 years with the only goal for the younger generation to be proud of Indian culture and heritage. He said the Swarnaa group adopted about 40 poor merit students to help them interest their interest. Among them, one student was chased by MBBS and five were now engaged in engineering, he said he added that financial assistance was also extended to poor merit students. The Vice President of Iskcon Raghottam Dasa and RAM GOPAL DASA were present.
