The probe into Malayalam filmmaker Ranjith’s sexual assault case has entered its final phase as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) questioned actor Bobby Kurian, who was with the former when he was taken into custody on March 31, 2026, police sources said on Friday (17 Apr 2026).
Mr Kurian was summoned by the SIT on Thursday. He and assistant director Shalini were traveling with Mr. Ranjith when the police intercepted their car and detained the director near Thodupuzha.
