Since the introduction of the integrated bus terminal (IBT), along with the terminal of the freight terminal and the center more and more than six weeks, more than six weeks in Panjapur on the Tiruchi-Madurai motorway passed. However, it is still thrown for the public.
They were set up for a price of 492.55 GBP crore for 40 acres of land. The Terminus has 401 bus bays containing 141 for long distance buses, 84 for short distance buses, 120 for Mofussil buses and 56 for city buses. The device can accommodate 216 quads, 1 935 two rounds and 100 Autorickshaws. Invalid wheelchairs for people with disabilities, passenger waiting room, feed room, fire safety system, bus crew toilets, safety room, police control room, LED screens and display slices, drinking water facilities, 12 lifts and escalators, 78 shops and toilets.
The Chief Minister of MK Stalin declared Open IBT as held on May 9. Several buses were operated from IBT shortly after inauguration. However, Terminus is not yet fully functional. Officials said IBT will become fully functional as soon as the established system is established to identify or select traders who run shops and restaurants to make food, refreshments, coffee and other passengers available. Officials said that it would become functional from 3 June. This caused disappointment among people from Tiruch, who were eager to testify to the operation of buses from IBT.
“The delay in bringing IBT to the public caused disappointment to the people of Tiruchi. It should be open to the public as soon as possible,” says K. Janardhanan, resident then.
Tiruchi Corporation, head of the company, told Hindu that it was decided to outsource the operation and maintenance of IBT. The offer would be open on Monday to correct the supplier. A successful supplier would, in turn, identify traders to run tea stands and restaurants. With regard to various considerations, IBT could be open to the public in the second July.
