Injured Leopard located next to the road leading to Seetharkund in Nelliampathy on Monday.
Leopard found injured on the Seetharkund road in Nelliampathy in the district on Monday evening succumbed to his injury. Leopard had serious wounds of his head when he was found on the Pobson road in the morning. Although forest officials were warned, Leopard died before veterinary surgeons could treat him. According to officials, injuries were probably caused by fighting other wild animals.
