More than a hundred inhabitants from B. Manihatta, Balocola, Nunthala and Bembatta, which are several villages endangered by Sillahalla pumped a hydroelectric project, gathered in the temple of Annamalai Murugan in Manjoor to pray to the temple to protect the environment to protect the project to be implemented.

More than 100 residents took the heavy rain to participate in an event, including activists who head of the opposition to the movement, including M. Sivalingam from the SillaHalla Protection Committee and the Association of Farmers and Higher Lawyer K. Vijayan.
