Frequent disruption of energy supply and energy fluctuations in Thiruvanaikoil and No. 1 Tolgate in the city has caused serious inconvenience to residents in the last few days.
According to the inhabitants in Thiruvanaikoil, one of the densely populated locations in Tiruch, the energy supply was disturbed on Sunday on Sunday for more than two hours. In addition to Thiruvanaikoil, several parts of Srirangam and No. 1 Tolgate has been witnessing energy supply in the last few days. Disruption reported mainly between 10:30 and 1:00
Until the completion of public tests for two and SSLCs, there was no major power supply problem. However, the locals said that the power supply of the power supply has been stayed since the tests were completed. The inhabitants could not predict when the power supply would be disrupted.
Much complains that disturbances of strength disrupted their sleep at night. Older, patients and children are among the affected. Unlike the past, when residents managed to sleep using fans, most of the population monitored the habit of using air conditioning for sleeping at night. Many of them have not been able to make full use of comfort in the last few days.
“We face serious inconveniences both during the day and at night due to a sharp temperature rise. The heat is unbearable. We manage heat using fans and air conditioning. However, we could not use them due to frequent energy disturbances.
Similarly, Tolgate No. 1 complains about frequent fluctuations in energy and power disruption.
Tamil Nadu Power and Distribution Corporation (TNPDC) distributes the energy of Thiruvanaikoil and several areas of Srirangam from the Thiruvanaikoil substation through high -voltage lines from Thischangamgam via Srirangam.
However, sources in TNPDC said they were struggling with energy supplies from the collapse of two HT transmission towers on the Collidamian rivers due to heavy water flow near Aragiripuram in Thiruvanaikoil. Thiruvanaikoil power was controlled by clicking on strength from other lines in Samayapuram and others. That and there caused some problems. Steps would be taken to ensure continuous power supply.
