The inhabitants say it is high time for the road to be made on a four -lane because they see strong traffic and frequent accidents.
The path of Thazhambur on the Navalur road in Navalur Rojiv Gandhi (OMR) and Thazhambur are quite compression.
It is a single -lane road without hard arms, which means that there is no mud on both sides along most of the section. For the volume of operation, which lasts, including heavy vehicles, such as water tankers and a vehicle loaded on the sand, residents say it is high time to make the road on a four -lane.
Ashok Rajendran, a resident in the area for more than 11 years, says there are not many accidents on the sides of the road.
“Once the authorickshaw transporting schoolchildren fell off the road. Recently, there will also be a frontal rainfall. Recently, the speed wheel hit the Autorickshaw because it was on the road that developed on the road, it is several big and dangerous monsters.
The path that people will do to reach Ponmar, Polacheteri and from there to Medavakkam and Madambakamm is dark on many sections and has trees Karuvelam along one side. Ramesh, other inhabitants, says traffic jams are common here, especially during school hours.
“Even two cars cannot go on a journey at the same time,” he says, adding, “once in a while, if someone who has an influence complains about the local Panchayat, brings earth assembly and fills the road up with some ground. But when water tankers move on the road.”
Ravi, a navalur resident that works in Thazhambur, says the road is too dusty and rains become crushed. “There are more dust along the section towards Ponmar. When vehicles dig dust, even Google maps sometimes show the visibility on the road as bad. There is no regular maintenance of the section,” says Mr. Ravi.
