Up to 26 people, including two foreigners and two locals, were killed after the terrorists launched fire on a well -known meadow near Pahalgam in what is the smallest attack in the valley from the strike in Pulwam in 2019.

Two Karnataka people killed

Modi condemns the attack, Amit Shah arrives in Srinagar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi “strongly” condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam Jammu and Kashmir and paid condolences to those who lost their loved ones.
In the paper on X, PM Modi, he said that those who are responsible for this nasty act will be brought to court.
“I strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Defense to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured person recover as soon as possible. All possible assistance is provided to the affected,” PM Modi said.
“They will be brought to justice behind this abominable act … They will not be spared! Their bad agenda will never succeed. Our determination to fight terrorism is unshakable and will be even stronger,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah and Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha arrived in Srinagar to organize a key security session.
