
The Indian Embassy in Iran said on Tuesday evening that the liquidation of the evacuation exercise initiated during the Israel-Iran conflict. In the X report, the Embassy said: “Since there was a notice of ceasefire, the embassy is gradually destroying the evacuation exercises initiated during the military conflict in Iran.”
The embassy also recommended Indians who plan to travel to Mashhad for evacuation from other parts of Iran to stay where they are, and continue to follow the news, as well as any updated councils issued by the Ministry.
Govt ‘pay attention to the situation’
In a number of contributions to the X Indian Embassy in Tehran, Indian nationals also reported that it had closed a contact table that was open to register new names for evacuation. “At the same time, India Govt. India carefully monitors the evolving situation and reconsider its strategy if there is again a threat to the security of Indian nationals in Iran,” the embassy said in one of its positions.
“Those Indians who have already traveled to Mashhad in the last few days and are staying in one of the hotels organized by the Ambassador, they are asking them to move to the Sadr Hotel today, because the embassy will set out rooms in other hotels,” the embassy said.
Informing Indian nationals that the embassy retains rooms at the Sadr Hotel for another two nights (until June 26 check -in), it also stated that it would allow citizens to make time to make sure that the security situation in Iran was actually returning to normal.
“If some Indian citizens need some advice or assistance or have any other special needs, they may contact the embassy through the channel telegram or on lines provided earlier. These communication channels will be open for several days,” the embassy said in another post.
Israel-Iranian ceasefire
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office noted on Tuesday evening that after an interview between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel “abstained” other attacks on Iran.
This statement comes shortly after US President Donald Trump expressed a strong disagreement with Israel and Iran the “violation of the ceasefire” he announced earlier during the day.
In a number of contributions to the Social Media X, the Israeli Prime Minister’s office said: “According to an interview between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israel refrained further attacks. The Israeli PMO further said that shortly before the ceasefire came into force, Iran launched firing missiles towards Israel, which required the lives of four citizens in Be’er Sheva.
He added that the hours before the planned ceasefire made Israeli forces in Tehran the main strike and eliminated hundreds of Basij and Iranian security forces.
The post of social media reads: “The ceasefire was set to 07:00 this morning. At 03:00 Israel forcibly attacked Tehran’s heart, hit the goals of the regime and removed hundreds of Basij and Iranian security forces.”
“Shortly before the ceasefire was to enter into force, Iran launched firing missiles, one of which took the lives of four of our citizens in Be’er Sheva. The ceasefire came into force at 07:00,” he added.
