The Indian Election Commission (ECI) on Saturday (July 12, 2025) stated that it had distributed the list for the list for special intensive inspection (Sir) voters in Bihar almost all voters found at their addresses and added that the forms can be submitted by July 25 and later by August 30.

The Commission stated that 100% of the forms were printed and that the distribution was almost complete for all voters found at their appropriate addresses. From 18:00 on Saturday (July 12, 2025), a total of 6 32.59 497 forms – or 80.11% of voters were collected.
ECI previously, July 6, released ads on the Patnu newspaper, which urged voters to submit their filled forms, even if they hadn’t had the necessary documents yet. Advertising explained that election registration officials could process these forms on the basis of local questions or alternative documentary evidence.
Soon thereafter, the Commission further clarified that while the documents could be submitted by July 25, voters would also have another opportunity to provide them during receivables and objections.
On July 10, while listening to a group of petitions that question the Sir in Bihar, the Supreme Court urged ECI to consider Aadhaar, epic cards and assignment cards as valid forms of identification. Another hearing is scheduled for 28 July, just before the planned publishing of the election roles of 1 August 2025.

In its statement, the Commission stated that 77,895 officers at the stand level (BLOS) supported by another 20,603 new BLOs will actively participate in the completion of the list before the date of 25 July. 38 district election officials (DEOS), 243 election registration officials (EROS) and 963 EROS assistant throughout the state under the supervision of the main election officer (CEO) were supervised by the field level, and the Commission added.
