
The Indian audit system goes high-tech. Administrator and General Auditor (CAG) have associated with Bhaskacharya National Institute of Space Application and Geo-Informatics (Bisag-N) to use geo-space technology, AI and large data for smarter and more accurate audits.
The aim of this step is to improve financial supervision, monitor government projects and increase transparency in public expenditure.
MY were signed by TP Singh, CEO of Bisag-N and S. Ramann, representative of CAG and Chief Technology Director, on Tuesday in the presence of inspections and general auditor K. Sanjay Murty.
Emphasizing the importance of technological self-confidence Murtha stressed that work with institutions such as Bisag-N would not only strengthen the ability of the audit, but also show progress in India using indigenous technological solutions.

The partnership is expected to strengthen the methodology of audit by integrating geo -space analysis, AI controlled knowledge and processing large data, according to the official statement of CAG on Wednesday.

“These tools will enable auditors to assess infrastructure projects, environmental impact and financial inconsistencies with greater accuracy. The aim of cooperation is also to develop a specialized platform for audit analysis by geo-space data from PM-Gatishacti pipelines and offer real-time views to key government initiatives,” she said.
In addition, the joint research effort will explore the use of satellite images and a long -distance survey to identify inefficiency and leaks in public expenditure, she said.
