The Indian Air Force (IAF) will participate in the Singapore Airshow 2026 with its renowned Sarang helicopter display team flying the indigenously designed and manufactured Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv.
Known for precision flying, close-in maneuvers and disciplined execution, the Sarang display highlights the ALH Dhruv’s operational versatility, agility and reliability across a range of missions, according to the Ministry of Defense (MOD).
Asia’s premier biennial aerospace and defense exhibition, Singapore Airshow 2026 is being held at the Changi Exhibition Center from 3 to 8 February 2026. The event brings together global airpower, industry leaders and aerospace stakeholders, showcasing advanced military and civil aviation platforms while promoting professional interaction, strategic dialogue and industrial partnerships across the MoD-Pacific, Indo-Pacific region.
The airshow will include flying displays by the Sarang helicopter team along with three other international teams. The main attraction of the exhibition will also be a static display of 37 aircraft.
Established in 2005, the Sarang Aerobatic Team consists of five ALH helicopters. Over the years, the team has performed at several major international events, including MAKS International Airshow in Russia (2021), Dubai Airshow (2021 and 2023) and Bahrain International Airshow (2024), in addition to appearances at the Singapore Airshow in 2024 and 2026. The team also regularly performs at domestic support events and provides valuable support to Disasterli Assarian (HADR) operations.
