The workers hostels built by the government of Tamil Nadu in the industrial estate Kurichi Sidco has passengers for 26 of its 116 rooms.
The remaining rooms will receive passengers after Deepavali, because several guests went home at the festival, said Small Industries Corporation (Sidco) official.
The hostel, which has 528 rooms and is spread over 1,49 acres, was built at 23.05 GBP to take 528 workers and in March this year inaugurated by the main Minister of MK Stalin. The rooms are two types (430 square feet and 394 square feet) – one for the name of only workers and the other is for workers who are here with their family members.
