Dostinec will be completed by December Hospital Blocks and the Manuscript Center of the International Research Institute Ayurveda in Kannur. The Institute is the best that could become a Ayurveda sector in the state, said Secretary of Health Veen George.
Mrs. George, who launched Ayurveda Day celebrations on Tuesday, also launched 12 Ayush projects on the Crore Melody 14,39 GBP throughout the state.
The hospital, which comes as part of the Ayurveda Research Institute, will have 100 beds.
She said that the National Institute of Ayush Training would soon be launched. These activities were accelerated by the government after clearly understood that the establishment of research facilities in Ayurveda was essential for sector growth.
The government also focuses on improving the quality of care and special services in Ayurveda, she said.
The Government will also accept the standardization and accreditation of the wellness sector sector and also assessing the quality of Ayurveda certificates to ensure their credibility
Eye care
Ayurveda’s eye care is now available in all districts, Mrs. George said. This was permitted by reworking the existing Ayurveda eye care units in the State and the establishment of another six “Drishti” units.
Memorandum of understanding for the implementation of Soothikithhram, a training program for women providing postpartum care based in Ayurveda at the National Institute for Training in Ayushhu, was signed by the state director of the national mission Ayush D. Sajith Babu
Higher officials of the Health and Ayush Department were present.
