The HMT Bhavan bus stand has emerged as a new traffic bottleneck after the Hebbal flyover in Bengaluru

As the traffic jam shifts from the Hebbal flyover to Mehkri Circle in north Bengaluru, a new bottleneck has emerged near the HMT Bhavan bus stand on Ballari Road, adding to commuting time, documents accessed by The Hindu reveal.

In a letter to the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), the Bengal Transport Police (BTP) has asked citizens to relocate the HMT Bhavan bus stand to a point 100 meters beyond the current location where the road width is comparatively wider.
