The HM of the PVR Municipal School receives the “Best Teacher” award from the CM.

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, 41 government teachers, lecturers and principals were awarded as ‘Best Teachers’ by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2026-2027. The awards were presented by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh during Guru Puja celebrations in Vijayawada on Saturday (September 5, 2026).

Principal of Ongole-based PVR Central Boys High School Muvva Radhika received the state award from the CM. Her success was appreciated by the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school. From Nellore, Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) Tourism Management faculty member M. Thyagaraju received the award.

VSU vice-rector prof. Congratulating him, Allam Srinivasa Rao said that the university faculty member receiving the state honor is a matter of great pride for the university. The recognition would inspire other faculty members to strive for excellence and further contribute to the academic development of the university, he added.
