
The Hindu’s media campaigns earned global recognition at the prestigious INMA Global Media Awards 2026, with ‘The Hindu Written By Journalists’ branding campaign winning first place in the Best Branding Campaign category and ‘The Hindu Made Of Chennai’, a campaign celebrating the city, securing third place in the Best News Branding Campaign category.
The INMA Global Media Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the news media industry, recognizing best practices in news brands, audience engagement, subscriptions, product development, advertising, commerce and newsroom transformation.

‘Made of Chennai’ is a city-centric initiative by The Hindu that celebrates the stories, culture, creativity and spirit of Chennai. The campaign brought together citizens, creators, entrepreneurs, artists and change-makers through experiences and conversations that reflected the city’s identity and emotional fabric.
