As Minister of Cooperation KN Rajanna on Thursday (March 27, 2025), he would announce that milk prices in Karnataka increase by 4 ₹ per liter of April 1, local business, households, tea sellers, hotels, restaurants, bakeries and sweet shops began to reconsider their pricing strategies on Thursday (March 27, 2025).
PC Rao, President of the Hotelier Association Bruhat Bengalur, said that the previous increase in milk prices is only a few months ago. The Association announced an increase in coffee prices by 10% to 15% from March after a sharp increase in the price of coffee powder.
According to Mr. Rao, new milk prices will also mean that Mr. Mr, cottage cheese, butter and ghee will see the impact, as well as foods that use them extensively, such as DOSA, ice creams and milk cocktails. “If we see any change in the price in these products, we will consider the revision of our menu. Until then, we will wait for another decision to decide,” he said.
Chethan Hegde, which leads the chapter of Bengaluru chapter National Restaurants’ Association in India, said restaurants and larger chains would be affected as a result of hike. “Milk prices are changing quite often. We cannot change offers every day. It’s challenging because salaries are not raising today as the price of products,” he added.
The owner of Dabba Central, VANSH AGARWAL, said the hike will affect its best -selling objects such as Kheer.
Raghu, which operates a tea stand in Malleswars, shared its dilemma of quantity and quality: “I run a small tea stand and milk is the most important product for doing business.
Consumers were also unfortunate.
Rajajinagar, Sujat, added: “The 4 GBP hike at milk prices could sound small, but for a middle -class family like ours, it is a daily necessity that will now mean less milk and fewer cups of tea.
