The High Court dismisses the appeal

The Telangana High Court dismissed an appeal filed by Patanjali Foods Limited challenging a single judge’s order upholding the authorities’ decision to cancel the company’s factory zone in Suryapet district.

A bench of Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice GM Mohiuddin said the appellant failed to fulfill its contractual obligations under the second Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by not setting up the processing unit within the stipulated time. The court noted that the single judge correctly assessed the factual and legal aspects of the case. The judge correctly refused to interfere with the challenged government order to abolish the factory zone, the verdict said.
