The heavy rain, which lasted over an hour, caught the inhabitants of Dharwad out of sight and left several roads flooded.
It was as if as the whole city was stopped because of heavy rain, which began around 15:00 and the city attracted more than an hour.
The downpour has resulted in a fully waterlogged in the old PB Road in Dharwad. The poor drainage net and the suffocated gutters resulted in the water and the movement of the vehicle stopped for some time.
Due to waterlogging, traffic at important intersections in the city, including NTTF, toll Naka, KMF and near SDM, was influenced, while the reserved buses corridor (BRTS) was flooded.

Being a holiday was not the immediate assistance of the authorities and the relief came late. An ambulance vehicle was also caught in the KMF.
Meanwhile, he resulted in the departure to low -laid areas such as Saidapur, Rani Chennamma Nagar and neighboring areas.
However, the downpour brought to the rural areas of health, where farmers have already sowed seeds. After pre-monzun’s collisions, farmers took the sowing prematurely and were afraid when the rain gods subsequently relaxed. But Sunday’s rain brought smiles back to the faces.
