A video of a Zepto delivery woman in Delhi has gone viral, garnering praise from thousands online for her determination and positive spirit in the face of a physical disability.
The clip, shared on Instagram by user Mallika Arora, captures her short conversation with 52-year-old Veena Devi, who proudly introduces herself as a delivery woman with a quick-commerce platform. When asked about her condition, Veena calmly revealed that she is 50% disabled but has been working since June last year to support herself.
Arora, visibly moved, asks how she can help. Veena responds with just one plea: “Bas support karte rahiye (just support me)”. Arora tells her that she is proud of her courage and encourages her to keep going – a moment that resonated deeply with the audience.
The headline of the viral post reads:
“Some people not only live, they fight every day. She didn’t deliver an order…she delivered an inspiration.”

Instagram users shared messages of admiration:
A user wrote on Instagram: “So proud of my aunt, boomers are different. Integrity and hope.”
Another user wrote: “True inspiration. Her smile melts my heart.”
“Lots of love and blessings to her,” commented a third user.
“Veena devi ji you are an inspiration to many,” wrote a fourth.
“Lots of love and blessings to her,” wrote a fifth.
The official Zepto Instagram user also took note and responded with a supportive message: “Proud of her”
Another video that went viral earlier this year showed how gig workers are treated in India. The post highlighted a Zepto delivery man carrying a heavy grocery order up 12 flights of stairs after discovering the building’s elevator was not working. By the time he reached the customer’s door, he was visibly out of breath – yet he refused the tip offered for his efforts.
The customer, who eventually insisted on accepting the tip, urged others online to show more kindness to delivery staff. The post reads: “Be kind. Have empathy. Reward gig workers when you can.”
The account quickly gained traction, with many users praising the rider’s commitment — while others argued that the onus was on companies to ensure fair wages and working conditions instead of relying on the generosity of customers.
