Meanwhile, at the beginning of this week, the Pakistani army denied the rumor that the head of the army Asim Munir was planning to become the next president and call the news “unfounded”.
LT Gen spokesman Ahmed Shaudhry said that the head of the army is not interested in the presidency and no such proposal is taken into account, the state PTV published on the social media on Wednesday.
