Chairman BC Dedicated Commission, former IAS officer Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, visited the district on Thursday (April 30, 2026) to review reservations for Backward Classes (BC) in rural and urban local bodies and take comments from stakeholders.
As part of the visit, the Commission held a meeting at the Collectorate with District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore, Additional Director of Social Welfare BC Chandrasekhar, leaders of various BC communities and association representatives.
