
Police Bannerghatta arrested the guardian of a private school hostel on Wednesday for allegedly failed to prevent ragging of a smaller school boy, despite his complaints about him and the director.
The victim recently admitted to the hostel was reportedly torn by a group of five PU students who stayed in the same hostel for four days between 3 and 6 August.
When the victim made a complaint with the supervisor and headmaster, they reportedly called the students and issued a warning. No measures were taken.

The victim, who was unable to bear harassment, told her suffering with her parents, after which his father filed a complaint against Bannerghatta on Monday.
Based on the complaint, the police registered the case against five students, guards and main billing under the POCSO law.
The police arrested the guard on Tuesday. There are about 40 children in the hostel and the police are further investigating whether the accusations are involved in similar crimes with other children.
