The Governor will address the Kerala Assembly on Friday

Governor Rajendra Arlekar will address the Kerala Legislative Assembly on Friday (May 29). A special cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister VD Satheesan here on Monday gave its nod to the governor’s political speech. According to the schedule announced by the House, the debate on the motion of thanks for the Governor’s speech will be held from June 1 to June 3. Mr. Arlekar’s previous speech in January this year during the tenure of the LDF government led to extraordinary scenes in the House after the then Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan “corrected” the governor’s speech after the governor’s exit.
