
A three -year -old girl, K. Ashika, kept burns after her stepmade grandfather plunged a gasoline bomb into her house in the village of Santhavasal near the city of Arani in Tiruvannamea on Thursday.
According to the police, Ashika is the daughter of C. Kumara and K. Diva Bharathi, who have lived in the village for several years, and the granddaughter of R. Chinnapap, 49, a divorce who lived in a nearby village of Vilankoupam.
The initial investigation revealed that Mrs. Chinnapapa married farmer S. Raja, 54, a few years ago. A few months ago, Raja was acquainted with 25 cents of land owned by Mrs. Chinnapapa in Vilankuppam. Since then, he demanded that he sold the property and give him the proceeds. When the couple regularly argued over the ground, Mrs. Chinnapapa moved with Mrs. Bharathi.
Raja, angry by throwing a gas bomb in the house of Mrs. Bharathi. It fell on the ashik. The girl suffered burns in the impact.
Neighbors rushed the girl to the Government Faculty of Medicine in Vellore. The doctors said her condition was stable.
Police of the Santhavazal Police registered the case. There is a search for NAB Raja.
