The fourth volume of Raja Ravi Varma: An Everlasting Imprint – The Epics Imagined book series by Ganesh V. Shivaswamy was released in Mysuru on 31st January.
The book was released by pramoda devi wadiyar of Erstwhile Msuru royal family at an event organized by Hh Sri Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation at Chandrashaale Thotti Sabhangangana in MESURU PALACE premises.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Wadiyar said that the book was released at Chandrashaale Thotti, which was being renovated. She noted that the auditorium was formally inaugurated with a book release and will be used for similar literary events in the future.
Shivaswamy gave an overview of the book which focuses on the paintings of legendary artist Raja Ravi Varma. He said that the painting of Draupadi by Raja Ravi Varma is currently on display at the Jaganmohan Palace in Mysuru.
Several art lovers and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
The release of the book was followed by a concert by Vidwan Smruthi Bhaskar and team.
