
The former wide LSU Kyren Lacy receiver was found dead in the hotel room in Houston early on Sunday morning, just days before it was expected to testify before a large jury related to a deadly accident.
Lacy, 24, was declared dead on the spot. The police said there were no immediate signs of foul, but the official cause of death has not yet been released.
Lacy was expected to testify in connection with the accident that occurred in New Orleans in February. The accident left a 29 -year -old for a dead pedestrian. Although Lacy was not charged, he was summoned that he testified as an interest person.
Kyren Lacy announced for the design of the NFL 2025 after the impressive season on LSU. He led the tigers in the receptions of touch. Lacy was screened as a late selection from the first round with the kind permission of its size, speed and thick hands. His performance against the highest defense of SEC pointed to several NFL teams.
Lacy’s close friend Rontrell Sandolph, who also comes from Louisiana, confirmed the heartbreaking news by heart -red message on social media.
“2 !!! I’m so lost for words. I’m without a word. I went to sleep four times and woke up to see if it was a dream when Mrs. Kandace called me,” Randolph wrote. “The dreams we started digging – you got to NFL & Me playing the ball overseas! Our dreams have become a reality we spoke and cried and laughed every day.”
Lacy’s death shocked fans and former teammates across the country. Reports of sorrow and memory began to spread online shortly after the news of the browsing broke.
Lacy, a native of Louisiana, moved to LSU from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and quickly became a key part of the Tigers attack.
He was survived by his parents, two younger brothers, and a close group of teammates who considered him a family.
