
The Ministry of Agriculture will open its first intelligent agricultural office in the Kozhikode district with a number of online services for farmers in Panangadu 14 October. The Minister of Agriculture P. Praad will start a device that has been completed at the price of 26.55 GBP Lakh.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the project monitors a pilot implemented in other districts. It will offer all online services that have been popularized through the first intelligent “Krishi Bhavan” launched in Konno in Pathanamthitta and converted the traditional infrastructure into a technologically controlled center.
“As part of the Smart Office initiative, all services related to agriculture will be migrated to specially designed and adapted digital platforms. Farmers will be able to save online applications for all programs, claims, tests and scientific instructions,” said an agricultural official who was part of the project. He added that fast delivery of services will be the highlight of the project.
Krishi Bhavan in Panangad was completed with special farmers. It also ensured ISO certified after the audit of its services and facilities. The start of the eco-shop for farmers who sold their production was one of the creative initiatives received by Krishi Bhavan, in addition to the supply of organic fertilizers, pesticides and high quality seeds.
The sources of the Ministry of Agriculture stated that the government plan to introduce similar projects in Kerala will be announced by the Minister during the inauguration event. They added that proposals previously discussed with various agricultural organizations about different agricultural companies and schemes would also be submitted on this occasion.
