The FSDL, which has been managing and marketing Indian football since 2010, is valid by AIFF RS 50 Crore per year under this Agreement. Without extending or the new FSDL agreement, the ISL clubs told the club that it could not continue to plan the upcoming season without the clarity of the long -term league structure.
As a potential solution of FSDL, the FSDL proposed to create a new Holding company for ISL management, with 60% ownership going to clubs, 26% on FSDL and 14% to AIFF. However, this remains discussed.
Despite the uncertainty of the AIFF, he assured the fans that all parties were actively working on a resolution – but the final decision will be at the Supreme Court.
