The first randomization of micro-observers and assistants to be involved in the counting of votes polled in seven assembly constituencies in Villupuram district was completed on Tuesday.
District Electoral Officer and Collector Sheik Abdul Rahman initiated a computerized random selection process to assign duties to micro observers, invigilators and counting assistants for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections 2026. The exercise was conducted through the Election Commission of India website in the presence of returning officers at Villupuram Collectorate.
