The first petrol bunk in the country led exclusively by the female federation in the district of Narayanpet became an example of financial independence and confidence and recorded a profit of 13.82 Lakh in the first six months of its operation.
The petrol bunk, located on the Singaram X Roads, Narayanpet, was opened on 21 February 2025 by the main Minister A. Revanth Reddy under Indira Mahail Shakti, trying to seize one crore for women across the state to become an entrepreneur.
In just six months of operation, the Narayanpet district recorded Mahila Samakhya, which manages the bunk bed, a profit of 13.82 Lakh. The petrol bunk has quickly become a model of efficiency, selling 4,000 liters of gasoline and 6,000 liters of diesel per day. Six women employed as sales staff earn 13,200 GBP per month, while the manager, also from the SHG network, receives 18,000 GBP per month, with salaries of paid federation.
The federation consists of 8 196 self -help groups (SHG) with 91 369 members. The project was set up with an investment of 1.3 Crore, of which 15 Lakh for infrastructure, on the basis of a 20 -year rental agreement with BPCL for 10,000 GBP per month.
To ensure professional standards, seven higher women were trained as managers and shop assistants in Jadcherle and Shadnagar Petrol Bunks before taking operation. According to the main minister’s instructions, the district collector monitors performance every 15 days and ensures responsibility and transparency.
The leaders of Mahil Samakhya said that the success of the Narayanpet gasoline bunk beds inspired women in other districts to explore similar businesses. “It’s more than just a business. It is proof that women can successfully run large -scale businesses,” he said.
The main Minister of Revanth Reddy praised this effort and revealed that his idea of this bunk was to prove the efficiency of women in any sector in which they work, as well as an injection of business desires between women and especially rural women.
