No threats can deter their spirit: lg
The annual amaranth Yatra assumes importance this time since it comes about two months after the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, which was killed by 22 people, mostly tourists, killed 22 April at the famous Hill Station in South Kashmir. Yatra also passes through Pahalgam.
The eyes of the world are on this amarnath Yatra, and no threats can discourage the spirit of people who perform a pilgrimage, Sinha said on Tuesday.
Participation in “Tawi Aarti” in the Tawi embankment in Jammu claimed that this year’s Amarath Yatra would be even more historic than the previous ones, and for him it was the opportunity to restore the ancient glory of Jammu and Kashmir.
“World eyes are on this Yatra. Determination of devotees is unshakable; no threats can discourage their spirit. In cooperation and support of all, this year’s Yatra will be even more historic than previous years,” he said.
