The final list of voters for Nilambur Bypoll will be published on May 5, election officials said on Sunday.
The byteration in the Nilambur assembly constituent was the resignation of the independent MLA PV Anvar. At the beginning of this month, the Indian Election Commission (ECI) clarified the proposal submitted by the main election official Rathan Kelkar for other election stalls in the election district. According to this decision, the Nilambur election district will have a total of 263 stalls, including 59 new, permanent.
Mr. Kelkar said on Sunday that the election roles in the state did not attract any complaints. The deadline for filing the appeal ended. Neither voters nor political parties provide complaints. This also emphasizes the ECI stand on transparency in election roles, said Mr. Kelkara’s office. Voters and parties were given the opportunity to file complaints about the list of published 6 and 7 January. Currently, Kerala has a total of 2,78.66,883 voters.
