
The exhibition of photography celebrating prominent Telugo freedom fighters and the development of the Indian National Flag was inaugurated on Thursday at the Salar Jung Museum.
The event is organized by the Central Communications Office (CBC) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and is part of its integrated communication and field program.
Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament V. Vijayendra Prasad and University of Hyderabad Deputy Chairman of prof. B. Jagadeeshwar Rao together started the exhibition Laxmi Bayamma, Kumram Bhe and Suddal Hanumanth.
Mr. Prasad described the display as a rare collection that should be widely shared with the younger generation. He stressed that the Indian flag is a symbol of the self -esteem and pride of the nation and that every citizen should follow these values.
Mr. Rao noted that such initiatives maintain history and ubiquitous patriotism. As part of the event, CBC Hyderabad also organized a competition for essay and Teluga poetry on patriotic topics, while winners from five city universities received prizes and certificates from dignitaries.
CBC Another CEO of Shruti Patil said that the exhibition is focused on the connection of today’s youth with the victims and bravery of its ancestors. The exhibition will remain open to the public until August 17, 2025.
