
Again solutions to solve growing incidents of computer crime are a need for an hour, said the Minister of the Interior of the Union Govind Mohan on Friday, when he started C0C0N 2025, an annual Cyber Security Conference.
Mr. Mohan called for indigenous solutions and emphasized an increase not only in computer crime, but also for crimes depending on cybernetics such as hacker malware and denying online services.
Mohan, who dealt with the assembly of top police officers, technicians and delegates from different parts of the world, emphasized the call in determining the identity of cyber criminals as the main reason why such cases of cracking.
Three tools
“Cyber crime finds that it is very easy to hide their identity and rely on three main instruments to do so,” the Minister of the Interior said. The three tools he mentioned are virtual private networks (VPNs), conversion of returns in computer financial fraud in cryptocurrency and Dark Web.
“VPN has become a key tool for all types of criminals from narcotics, sexual offenders, sex traders and terrorists,” he said. “Although the challenges are serious, our reactions are equally fast and equally effective. We will not allow computer crime to affect the security of this country. We are determined to defend people from such crimes. The state governments and central government are together,” he said.
The state police chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar said that cyber security is no longer a technical problem, but a matter of public security and national sovereignty.
“Today, digital infrastructure is no longer peripheral. No public service, including financial transactions, services and reaction to emergencies, is digitized. Although this transformation is necessary, it also expands our threats and vulnerability exponentially. Cyber attacks are no longer accidental or isolated. “In Kerala, we accepted multiple and proactive approach to crisis solving,” he added.

Prakash, General Police Inspector; Putta vimaladitya, district police chief (Kochi City); Assocan, police manager, cyber operations and Childlight, the Global Institute for Child Security, participated in an inauguration session.
