The Kali family, the older tribe killed in the attack of elephants in Attappady on Sunday, allegedly neglected the authorities and provided him with medical attention.
Kali was killed when he was attacked by two elephants in Swwarnagadha Usthi Hamlet in Attappady. His relative Murukan, who was with him when the attack, said Kali with severe injuries lay in the forest for three hours before he was moved to the hospital.
He argued that the tribal promoter did not participate in his call when desperately tried to address help.
Kali and Vishnu went to the forest to collect firewood on Sunday morning. Vishnu said they were attacked by two elephants. When Vishnu ran to cover, he couldn’t.
