Two women were detained by the police after the eggs were worthy of Pakistan on a trapped former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the province of Pandjab. Aema Khanum addressed the media outside Adial’s prison regarding the case of Toshakhan – which includes the unlawful sale of state donations and for which her brother Khan was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
What did the shots show?
The shots on the social media showed that Alema was hit by an egg. The woman is heard of shouting, “Who’s the hell is he?” and “Kisne Kiya Yeh (who did it)?” Despite the commotion, Khanum remained – although impressed – folded and quietly replied, “Koi baat na, jaane to” (it’s okay, let it go).
What did the police say?
The statement issued by the police Rawalpindi said that both arrested women were PTI supporters who “traveled to Rawalpindi with other members of the All-Government Grand Alliance to protest for their unfulfilled requirements”.
“Egging happened when Alema did not answer questions raised by both women,” she said, adding that the duo was taken into police custody and sent to Adiala’s checkpoint.
How did PTI react?
PTI called the incident “shameful” and claimed that the police helped women who claim to have been planted for political motives to escape the car.
“Women were sent to Aemu’s media speech within the agenda,” the party said.
“Even in hostility a woman deserves dignity”
The head of the National Party-Agenal Akhtar Mengal said, “Even in hostility, a woman deserves dignity. Targeting women is the lowest form of policy and this cheap stuntman must be convicted of the strongest words.”
The Federal Minister for Development condemned Ahsan iQbal and said: “Politics must remain in the ideas competition, not violence or hatred. We should all work to keep it healthy and respectful.”
Meanwhile, the leader of PML-N Khawaja Saad Rafique condemned this act as “shameful, disgusting and rough”.
Imran Khan has been imprisoned for more than two years for more fees.
