According to Priyank Kharge, Minister for the Development of Rural and Panchayat Raj, a 100 -day resolution campaign and recovery announcement marked in the Panchayats audit reports started.
This initiative is governed by objections raised by the Karnataka legislative Committee for the local authorities and institutions of Panchayat Raj about not the objection of the audit of the audit reports of the Gram Panchayat for the financial year 2014-15. The campaign is carried out in all districts in order to ensure the time solution of the audit objections and the issues of renewal in accordance with the standards, says official release.
The question of unresolved objections to the audit in the gram of Panchayats often appears in the legislative assembly and in the Council. According to reports on the audit of state accounts and the Audit department, a total of 56,551 objections remains 1,505.86 crore, since the end of the financial year 2022–23 in the state 2022–23. Therefore, a special audit campaign began, the Minister said.
The campaign came into force from 16 June and will continue to September 23, it is reported.
