Indian coal imports in 2024-25 fell by almost 8% to 243.62 million tonnes, which led to foreign exchange savings over more £60 681.67 Crore, said G. Kishan Reddy, Minister of Union for coal and mines, Monday.
In a written answer to the question in Rajya Sabha, the Minister noted that imports amounted to 264.53 million tons in 2023-24.
