Police Kovalam confirmed on Monday that the death of the hotel Cook two weeks ago was the case of murder.
Rajendran, the victim, was found dead 17th. September on the terrace of his sister’s house in Nedumam near Kovallam, where he stayed. The deceased, who worked at a hotel in the city, lived separately from his wife for several years. His neighbor Rajeev was arrested in connection with the case.
It was found that the body was more than two days at the time of the discovery. Suspicions arose after the doctor indicated the presence of external pressure signs on the neck, indicating a harmful game. This caused the police to start a detailed investigation.
The probe led the Police Kovallam to Rajeev, who is accused of committing murder over the suspicion that Rajendran had a relationship with his mother. He is suspected of strangling the victim of death.
